We’ll be making some changes this summer to broaden Redeem the Commute’s focus on the GTA, and to promote and highlight different content than before. We won’t be changing our emphasis on evangelism, small group formation or church community.
Redeemer Church has developed Redeem the Commute, a mobile app and web site for busy commuters. We like to call our marriage, parenting and Christianity 101 courses life changing, but is it true? Two baptisms this February are a sign we are headed in the right direction!
Redeemer Church is not a building, or a weekly event, but a movement of busy suburban people learning to follow Jesus as one community in sync. We do this through Redeem the Commute, a mobile app and web site with free marriage and parenting courses, an introduction to Christian faith, and a daily challenge to help you grow and learn. We've been developing this online community over the last year, encouraging users to share their discussion questions with friends and family, forming small groups wherever they have spare time with friends: on trains, on buses, in workplaces and in homes.
Are you becoming a follower of Jesus through the content you've encountered at Redeem the Commute? Baptism is the way to "go public" with what God is doing on the inside. Just talk to Ryan Sim to explore if this step is right for you, or your children, royal or not!
Hear about the incredible response to our latest event, and how you can help support further ministry.
Do you love our vision, and want to join the team?
We need people who are trying to follow Jesus, and want to help others do the same.
We particularly need group hosts, and people with video, audio and web development skills!
Our vision is to be an organic, growing movement of commuters committed to God in worship, growth in discipleship, grace in lifestyle, generosity of resources and gathering in groups.
We are developing Redeem the Commute, a mobile app and community with quality, life-transforming content on relationships, parenting, Christian basics, and daily challenges for growing followers of Jesus. We'll help people connect to others in groups, and in Fall 2013, gather all our groups together for a big celebration.
