Unfortunately our church no longer meets.
I just want to say someone mentioned this on facebook and i thought it was a great concept. Although i’m christian but not anglican, I hope i have the chance to catch one of your services.
The last time i went to church was when after service i got into a conversation with the priest about why i don’t attend ( because of my 1 and 2 year old at the time) and he basically told me that i was a bad mom because i didn’t raise my kids to sit still for 45 mins. ( My kids are relative angels but at 1 and 2 or even at 4 and 5 now it’s boring and they don’t want to sit there bored for 45 mins which means mom can’t lisen because she is busy keeping them busy so they don’t disrupt everyone else, other then when we sing , cause they love that part, because they can participate! Anyways, then we all leave mad and frustrated, you shouldn’t leave service mad and annoyed, you should feel happy and rejuvenated
All that to say for all the moms like me, THANK YOU ! I hope this concept paves a way for many churches.
Thanks for the encouragement, it’s always great to hear that we’re meeting a real need. And although we are an Anglican church, we are Christians first and welcome people from any background, of any age, to learn about Jesus with us. I hope we get to meet you at a Family Room service someday soon, and that you’ll share with friends!

We call it kids church!
a great place for families to be with other families where kids can just be kids and have a free space to roam while learning about the Bible in a free spirited way.
a kid friendly version of the Anglican Church
I would describe the family room as welcoming, warm, friendly and the material for the amount of time is easy to understand for everyone.
A fun place where the whole family can learn about God.
A family friendly service that combines music, teaching, theater, games and snacks to build a strong community.
